While the year just started, most of us can’t wait for the holiday season to be back again. To clarify, not because of all the jolly songs and festive decorations but because of the PS5 console. The new PlayStation console is set to release by the end of 2020.
Today we learn a little more about the PS5, in particular to the DualShock remote controller. It was leaked that the Dual Shock 5 will look similar to the Dual Shock 4 controller but have way more features.
It appears that the DualShock 5 controller will have a larger touchpad and a built in microphone. In the provided image we can’t see the microphone feature, so we can only speculate that it’s at the top or somewhere out of view. Furthermore, it also appears to be all black but that can all change by February, when SONY is set to have a press event, or so we hope.
And for those of us that can’t afford an additional PS5 controller, have no fear. However, it was confirmed that the DualShock 4 remote controller will still be supported with the new console. Let’s hope this doesn’t change by the release date.
Sony is being really secretive about the new gaming console, which we can understand why. They want to build up more suspense and hopefully at the reveal provide us with something out of this world. We want more VR, more features, and even better games. Let’s see if they will deliver all of this by the end of 2020.
